Through a painter character who endured a difficult path of pursuit for the perfect inspiration, the film set out to portray the spirit of a persevering creator. This portrayal is the extension of the very spirit represented by the partnership between Taiwanese contemporary artsits Paul Chiang and Kavalan in the inaugural Kavalan Artist Series.To capture the 4 elements that inspired the 4 limited edition flavors, the ocean, the air, the sunlight and mother earth, Mercy Creatives traveled south to Taitung and Hualien, where Chiang currently resides at and creates from.
